2023: Actor Kenneth Okonkwo Vows To Beg Tinubu, Atiku To Step Down For Peter Obi

Actor and lawyer Kenneth Okonkwo from Nigeria has declared his support for Peter Obi’s bid for the Labour Party (LP) presidency in 2023.

The actor claimed he would be open to persuading Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party and Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress to make way for Obi.

In an interview with Arise TV on August 31st, he made the statements.

Olusegun Obasanjo, who is thought to be a contributing factor to the country’s issues, is reportedly camping out with Obi. When asked why, Kenneth replied that the elder’s comments might teach the former governor of Anambra State some lessons that will not be beneficial to Nigeria.

He noted that Obasanjo can no longer contest for the office of the presidency and he is not looking for fame or money but he is part of those seeking the survival of the country.

According to the actor, the survival of the country is in the hands of every Nigerian, including the terrorists as everyone is looking for a solution.

He said Peter Obi is the only way of escape for Nigerians and it is important for everyone to fall in line.

Kenneth added that he would beg the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar and All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, to step down for the former Governor of Anambra state if he is opportuned to see them.
