Ghana is set to face Brazil and Nicaragua as part of preparations for the World Cup later this year. The Black Stars will play Brazil on Friday the 23rd of September and then face Nicaragua on the 27th of September.
This could be the last set of matches before the team officially kicks off its world cup campaign in November this year against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal.
According to sources close to the camp, 23 players have arrived at the camping residence and will start training for the friendly matches. The source also revealed that notable names such as Tariq Lamptey, Inaki Williams have all reported at the camp as well as in form Mohammed Kudus. However, Mohammed Salisu is yet to report to the camp.
Salisu has been a subject of criticism before and even after he agreed to play for the team. It is yet to be revealed why he is yet to report to the camp. Other players who are yet to report to the camp are Daniel Amartey, Felix Afena Gyan and goalkeeper Richard Ofori.
