An elderly citizen of Lusaka who had lived there for 52 years lost custody of his eleven-year-old son, whom he had made hate the mother by telling him she had cursed his stepmother and grandmother till they passed away.
The boy admitted during the parent’s divorce hearing at the Matero Local Court that the father robbed him of the mother-son relationship as they fought over who would take on the burden of raising the child.
The young person said that his father made him loathe his mother since she was thought to have cursed the defendant’s second wife.
The boy said his father told him that the mom killed his step-mother and his grandmother.
“I desire to be staying with my mother because my father tells me that my mother is a witch who killed my stepmother and my grandmother,” the boy stated after local court docket justice Harriet Mulenga, requested where he would be comfy to live.
