After her father passed away, Mary has described how her foster mother began dating her husband while she was pregnant. They actually kidnapped her kids and began cohabitating as husband and wife.
When Mary was 9 years old, a couple visited the home and adopted her after learning that she was living in a children’s orphanage. Until she completed her primary schooling, they drove her to school.
There were no other children living with her foster parents. Her mother said she didn’t love her when she persuaded her father not to enroll her in high school, despite the fact that her father had shown his love for her.
She took a course in tailoring and then relocated to the nearby town to look for work. There, she met her husband, told her parents, and later got hitched. She said the marriage was ok and they were blessed with two kids.

When she was discharged she found her house empty, She went to her mother’s house and found her husband and the children there. He told her that he has now married her mother and threatened to kill her if she stay there.
She went to her mother’s sister who advised her to pick up her children from school and run away. She went to Mai mahiu where she lives now although struggling a lot.
